Behold Camden's finest! A friend gifted this beautifully ugly set to me at a swap meet. It was their first lolita piece back when they were a teenager and they no longer wanted it. The raschel lace caught my eye and my friend said I should have it for free because 'if anyone can make it work it's you!'

I love 'ugly' old lolita, I just find it so charming. This one is a particularly excellent example of the kind of thing you could find in Camden back in the early 00s. It's made of a really strange slightly stretchy fabric that reminds me of my old school trousers!

I love how it looks layered over a printed cutsew with the buttons undone. It also has so many detatchable and matching parts that it's really fun to wear it in multiple different ways.
